Ameriabank Holds Conference on Solar Leasing

Ameriabank held a conference on solar leasing for its corporate clients and others who are interested in its leasing products. 

Ameriabank’s Corporate and Investment Banking Director Gagik Sahakyan, representatives of EBRD’s Green Economy Finance Facility (GEFF) in Armenia, various suppliers and government officers attended the event. Artak Hanesyan, Chairman of the Management Board and General Director at Ameriabank, opened the conference with a welcome speech.

The purpose of the conference was to showcase the advantages of solar energy to businesses, give a deeper insight into uses of solar plants, present effective financing schemes and practices and provide on-site consultation on how to use solar energy properly.

Ameriabank’s solar leasing provides the following opportunities:

  • Payment of 20% of finance lease amount under GEFF to client for free use
  • Collateral-free finance                                    
  • Wide network of market’s top suppliers 
  • Other financing tools in addition to leasing 
  • Close cooperation with international funds 

At the end of the conference a panel discussion took place featuring Acting Minister for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia Mr. Hakob Vardanyan, founder of Shtigen LLC Mr. Hayk Shekyan, GEFF technical consultant and engineer Mr. Vardan Khachatryan, and Head of Leasing at Ameriabank Mrs. Zaruhi Bostanjyan.
